About
No Roots follows Fluffy, a traveling trader and rabbit in the last days before she is expelled from her homeland. The player meets and trades with a series of people in the Rabbit Kingdom to ensure Fluffy is able to leave the kingdom.
The Carrot Economy
The world of No Roots doesn't have money. As a traveling trader, Fluffy must barter to earn the food she needs to survive. These systems ground players in the world of No Roots. Players must think about making a living while also finding a way to survive after being expelled from the Cat Kingdom.
World of Animals
Players will be drawn into No Roots by the game's feudal animal setting. The Cat Kingdom combines influence from real world medival history and animal tropes. This creates a setting where ideas of migration and identity can be explored cut with the surrealism of an animal world.
Repeating Game Structure
No Roots is meant to be played repeatedly. The game has many different possible endings for the player to achieve with each ending unlocking new content for the player to explore.
